Spring is here. Kapoks, popularly known as the "flowers of heroes" in South China, are in full bloom again at the South China National Botanical Garden and the Zhujiang Park in Tianhe district, Guangzhou.

The fiery red flowers' beauty and sweetness have attracted many birds, who flirt from one branch to another and sing happily among the fresh leaves.
