Public opinion is sought by Guangzhou's Tianhe district on its measures to promote the high-quality development of the modern business trade industry.

Wholesale and retail companies that are identified as headquarters enterprises in Guangzhou or Tianhe district are set to be granted a maximum financial support of no more than 20 million yuan ($2.76 million).

New energy sales enterprises will be given a one-time bonus of 100,000 yuan, 300,000 yuan, 500,000 yuan, or 1 million yuan, respectively, if their annual sales exceed 30 million yuan, 100 million yuan, 300 million, or 1 billion yuan for the first time.

For newly registered e-commerce companies, if their business income reaches 100-500 million yuan, or more than 500 million yuan, in the first full fiscal year and maintains a year-on-year growth of over 10 percent, a maximum amount of 1 million yuan or 10 million yuan is set to be granted.

Projects that use modern information technologies to establish intelligent application service systems for consumers, commercial enterprises, operating institutions, and government departments will be given a reward of 20 percent of the actual investment, with a maximum amount of 1 million yuan.

Newly established wholesale companies that realize over 500 million yuan in commodity sales in the first fiscal year and maintain a year-on-year increase of 10 percent in commodity sales in the first three years after establishment are poised to be given a reward of no more than 20 million yuan. This also applies to retail enterprises with sales of over 100 million yuan in the first fiscal year.

Enterprises, business associations, and organizations that host major themed events like shopping festivals and gourmet festivals in Tianhe are set to get financial support that is equal to their actual costs, with a maximum amount of 500,000 yuan.
