The total night consumption of Tianhe district ranked first among all the 11 districts in Guangzhou in the first quarter of 2024, according to the 2024 Guangzhou Night Economy Development Report.

The report was released during the opening ceremony for the 2024 Guangzhou Nighttime Consumption Festival on April 22. It also indicated that Guangzhou's night consumption index ranked fifth in China, and the Tianhe Road Business Circle, with 9.68 million nighttime passenger flow, topped all the business circles in Guangzhou.

This year's Guangzhou Nighttime Consumption Festival is scheduled throughout the year, with different themes and various activities for each season, such as gourmet bazaars, running activities, and night music markets.

The Guangzhou Night Economy Development Federation was also set up during the festival's launching ceremony. It now has more than 400 members, composed of business circles across the city, commercial complexes, nighttime businesses, online platforms, and industrial experts.
