The Tianhe Parallel Session of the 10th Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference China took place in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on April 9.

Themed "Converge in Tianhe, Build the Future," the conference had attendees from all walks of life to discuss the high-quality development and future opportunities of the district.

District Head Chen Jianrong deconstructed Tianhe's path in his speech at the conference, which is creating a "new engine" with sci-tech innovation, making use of industrial upgrading, and building an international business environment to promote high-quality development.

Tianhe has initiated an innovation alliance to foster collaboration between the government and enterprises. The alliance is poised to build the nation's first district-level modern urban industrial park, passing a vast industrial space of approximately 1.64 million square meters. Furthermore, Tianhe has created a comprehensive platform that offers full-process services, catering to enterprises seeking to expand their overseas markets.

The booming low-altitude economy in Tianhe is the "product" of the industry-university-research cooperation, said Financial Writer Wu Xiaobo.

Wu added that Tianhe has a promising future as it boasts four key elements, namely vibrant young talent, emerging industries with a sense of future, impulsive and adventurous young capital, and a service-oriented government with a young mentality.

XAG, a Tianhe-based enterprise involved in the low-altitude economy, has been promoting the application of smart agricultural technologies.

Besides, the Southern Manufacturing Entrepreneurs Alliance was signed to settle in Tianhe at the conference, which will create a communication and exchange platform for manufacturers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, help solve the problems in the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, and promote the construction of a modern industrial system with international competitiveness.
