Tianhe launches 100 activities for Spring Festival
A total of 100 activities were launched by Tianhe's 21 commercial complexes, 33 leading auto enterprises, and more than 4,200 businesses and brands for the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 10 this year.
The Tang-style Lantern Festival opened at the Grandview Plaza and will last through March 15, offering performances, parades, and festive activities. A Spring Festival-themed exhibition, showcasing traditional Chinese architecture and exquisite paper cutting works, is also ongoing on the first floor of Teemall. A 10-day bazaar is also taking place at the VT101 Victory Plaza from 2:30 pm to 10 pm from Jan 26 to Feb 4.

What's more, special funds of 10 million yuan ($1.4 million) will be distributed by online platforms and financial institutions, including the mega food delivery platform Ele.me and Union Pay, to promote consumption at the Tianhe Road Business Circle.
Thirty-four consumption promotion activities will be held by 33 auto enterprises during the holiday, including Tesla and GAC Aion, giving a maximum discount of 60,000 yuan for car purchases.
Discounts will also be provided by retail businesses in the district. Mopark will provide a 70-90 percent discount on its fashion goods, while the Tianhe branch of GrandBuy Department Store will offer a maximum of 15 percent discount on all home appliances.
