Measures should be taken to improve rural collectives, deputy says
A modern enterprise management system should be introduced to promote the high-quality development of the rural collective economy, during which strong support and effective guidance from all walks of life are needed, according to Chi Jinling, a deputy to the second session of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and chief executive of Tianhe-based Sanjun Group.
The lack of high-end talent and talent introduction channels are major factors that restrict the rural collective economic organizations from realizing modern enterprise management, Chi said.
She added that some rural collective economic organizations operate in a single mode, and rely heavily on the market.
Government departments should improve instructions for rural collective economic organizations on introducing a modern enterprise management system and exploring the new-type rural collective economy, as well as providing help in talent recruitment, enterprise management, and investment, Chi noted.
The fault-tolerant and error-correcting mechanisms should also be improved, while the assessment system should be bettered to encourage the development of the rural collective economy.
