New art space settles in Tianhe
The HAHALULU Art and Trend Space recently opened at the Guangzhou K11 Art Mall in the Tianhe district.
HAHALULU was created by Dennis Chan, a renowned artist, designer, and photographer from Hong Kong. The name came from Hulu ("gourd"), which symbolizes good luck, fortune, longevity, and protection against evil spirits in the traditional Chinese culture.
According to Chan, carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture has always been his initial intention in design and creation. He hopes to use art as a link to communicate with the world, and the Chinese trend can walk onto the international stage.
Besides the good wishes borne by Hulu, Chan also incorporates his reflections on the source of happiness into the creation of HAHALULU. [Photo/Yangcheng Evening News]
