China Pacific Life Insurance (CPIC Life) recently purchased a plot at the Tianhe Intelligence Valley in Guangzhou's Tianhe district. It is scheduled to settle its South China's big health and elderly care regional service center.

The plot asserts that convenient transportation adjacent to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, the Guangzhou Ring Highway S81, and the Guangyuan Express. The Guangzhou Railway Station and the Guangzhou East Railway Station are within half an hour's drive.

The center is planned to cover a total combined floor area of 93,000 square meters and comprise two functional areas – an elderly care community and the Yuanshen Rehabilitation Hospital.

The elderly care community is planning to build more than 400 apartments and can offer some 700 beds for older adults. A health management center will also be constructed to provide services like physical examination.

The Yuanshen Rehabilitation Hospital will be built according to the standard of a third-grade hospital, which ranks at the top of China's three-tier hospital grading system. It can offer more than 300 medical beds and will focus on rehabilitating specific diseases.
