The Guangzhou Tianhe District Culture and Art Popularization Alliance was established at the Tianhe District Culture and Art Center in Guangzhou on Dec 28, being the first of its kind in the city.

The alliance now has 30 social institutions as its members and will offer public welfare activities like cultural performances, exhibitions, and training courses.

An exhibition that showcases the district's achievements in popularizing public culture and art is also held at the Tianhe District Culture and Art Center on Dec 28-30. People can join in interactive activities like magic shows, VR lion dance, VR dragon boat racing, and Cantonese dim sum making and can appreciate the excellent works of the alliance's members, such as calligraphy and paintings.
