Talent culture festival kicks off in Tianhe
The main venue forum of the seventh Tianhe Talent Culture Festival took place at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on Dec 28.
Representatives from the district's universities, scientific research institutions, high-tech enterprises, key laboratories at provincial or national levels, industrial associations, human resource agencies, financing institutions, and maker spaces gathered to discuss topics like the talent development strategy in Tianhe.
Hu Ping, co-founder and CEO of Guangzhou Shuzhi Craftsman Information Technology introduced her company's digital intelligent platform for talent development and employment in the nuclear power sector, which won the grand prize at the National Human Resources Services Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in November, at the forum.

She also noted that Tianhe has provided an open environment for enterprises and set up various platforms for government-enterprises exchanges to ensure enterprises' growth and development.

In recent years, Tianhe has been advancing Guangdong's "Three Projects" initiative, which is trying to cultivate more Cantonese cuisine chefs, housekeeping professionals, and technicians. It has offered subsidized training for more than 350,000 people since 2020.
Besides, 14 industrial parks that newly joined the Tianhe Talent Base Service Station in 2023 received their name plates at the forum. The service station is committed to opening channels among government, market, capital, and talent and introducing market-oriented service resources.
The seventh Tianhe Talent Culture Festival is poised to last about one month, with activities like job fairs, training courses, sharing sessions, forums, and exhibitions to be carried out.
