HK youth entrepreneurs visit Guangzhou
The Hong Kong Commerce & Industry Association's youth entrepreneurs federation organized a group of young entrepreneurs to Guangzhou on Dec 7-8, visiting places like XPeng Motors and the Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Youth Home.
At the experience center of XPeng Motors' Guangzhou headquarters, a company based in Tianhe district, the delegation learned about the company's self-developed technologies and tried different car models.
"The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has seen great development in recent years," said Huang Li-ch'ing, honorary chairman of the Hong Kong Commerce & Industry Association's women entrepreneurs federation, after learning that XPeng has successfully developed flying cars.

In recent years, Guangzhou has built 52 bases that promote the innovation and entrepreneurship of Hong Kong and Macao youths. These bases have attracted more than 1,600 projects and over 2,000 youths from the two regions.
Lu Jiantong, a youth who is starting a business in Guangzhou, shared her story with the delegation at the Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Youth Home. "The development of the Greater Bay Area has brought many opportunities to the young people of Hong Kong and Macao," she said.
"I have started my own business in Guangzhou, doing a food project, and personally feel that Guangzhou has quite a lot of policy support," Lu added, and offered her suggestion that young people in Hong Kong should come to Guangzhou and see the new changes.
