Tianhe turns public toilets into mini museums
To mark this year's World Toilet Day, which fell on Nov 19, the Grandview Plaza, a national 4A-level scenic area in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, has begun turning its public toilets into mini museums.
Boards displaying simple scientific information, fossils, insect specimens, and interactive installations are all being used to popularize scientific knowledge.
There are 44 public toilets in the Grandview Plaza, and this project is expected to be completed before the 2024 Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 10.
