Guangzhou's Tianhe district is seeking public opinions for its measures to accelerate the high-quality development of the cultural industry.

Recently settled game research and development enterprises, a one-time award of 500,000 yuan ($68,348.72) will be given if they have a business income of over 100 million yuan in the first year or the first fiscal year. E-sports enterprises that recently set up operations in Tianhe and have a business income of over 20 million yuan will be granted a one-time award of 500,000 yuan.

A one-time award of 200,000 yuan will be given to recently settled e-sports clubs that won the first three places in international or continental-level e-sports competitions or that were champions of national e-sports competitions in the past three years.

For new online games that have been approved by the National Press and Publication Administration, 200,000 yuan will be awarded for each game, with a maximum of 1 million yuan per enterprise.

Original games that are selected for top international e-sports competitions, international large-scale e-sports competitions, intercontinental large-scale e-sports competitions, or national large-scale e-sports competitions, will be given a one-time award of 1 million yuan, 500,000 yuan, 300,000 yuan, or 200,000 yuan, respectively.

Animation works that have independent copyrights and won international, national or provincial-level awards will be given 300,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan or 100,000 yuan respectively, while comics will receive 150,000 yuan, 100,000 yuan or 50,000 yuan.

Industrial design centers or enterprises recognized by the State, province or city will be given a one-time reward of 2 million yuan, 1 million yuan or 500,000 yuan, respectively.

For international and national music chart award ceremonies or music festivals with more than 20,000 people attending that are held in Tianhe, organizers will be awarded up to 500,000 yuan or 300,000 yuan.

Professional sports clubs that settle in the district and are qualified to participate in professional leagues will be given a one-time award of 300,000 yuan.

Professional sports clubs participating in official competitions and winning championships at the world, Asian, or national levels will be awarded 500,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan or 100,000 yuan, respectively, while runners-up will be awarded 300,000 yuan, 150,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan, respectively.

An award of 500,000 yuan will be granted to enterprises or institutions that are included in the "Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises" or "Top 20 Chinese Tourism Groups". Enterprises identified as key national enterprises or projects for cultural exports will be awarded 200,000 yuan or 100,000 yuan, respectively.

Tianhe will give cultural enterprises with more than $500,000 in cultural exports an award of up to 500,000 yuan.

Cultural enterprises that receive over 1 million yuan in venture capital will be awarded 3 percent of the actual amount transferred into the account, with a maximum award of 800,000 yuan each. For those in the Tianhe Science Park, Tianhe Software Park and Tianhe High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the maximum amount will be lifted to 1 million yuan.
