The preliminary contest of the 2023 Tianhe District "Yangcheng Artisan" Vocational Skills Competition took place in the district on Oct 14.

Focusing on the increasing demand for services targeted at seniors and children as well as talent for livestream e-commerce, the competition was divided into two groups of child care workers and e-commerce engineers.

It saw 178 contestants participate in the preliminary contest, with 119 qualifying for the finals, which will be carried out on Oct 21.
