A bidding announcement was recently published on the official website of the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center for the Tianhe Foreign Language School's new campus in the Tianhe Intelligence Business District (IBD).

It shows that the campus will have a total investment of 1.34 billion yuan ($183.61 million) and be located to the east of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Chemistry, south of the South China Botanical Garden, and west of the South China Express Line. It will be just 300 meters away from Huolu Mountain and thus boast beautiful natural scenery.

It will cover a total land area of 118,423 square meters and a combined floor area of 116,856 sq m. Construction includes teaching and office buildings, living service buildings, a basement, an outdoor sports field, roads and squares, as well as greenery and other supporting facilities.

The campus is expected to open for enrollment in September 2025 and include 60 classrooms for senior high school and 30 classrooms for junior high school. In total, it will have a student capacity of 4,500.
