Macao bank sets up operations in Tianhe financial city
Construction on the Guangzhou branch of Macao-based Luso International Banking, which provides personal, trade financing and corporate banking services, started on Sept 22 at the Guangzhou International Financial City in Guangzhou's Tianhe district.
The bank, which is the first Macao-invested bank to set up operations in the financial city, is scheduled to be put into operation in three years.

The construction of the building is a development milestone for Luso International Banking and also an important sign that cooperation between Guangdong and Macao has reached new heights, said Huang Lai-chih, the bank's president.
