Tianhe transportation hub to be completed by year-end
The major structure of the integrated transportation hub at Guangzhou International Financial City – located in the Tianhe district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province - was recently capped.
The glass curtain wall is near completion, while the electromechanical installations and decorations have entered the final stage. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The transportation hub will have a combined floor space of nearly 80,600 square meters. It will integrate shopping, leisure and retail outlets and public transport transfers.
Guangzhou International Financial City station is an important part of the section of line from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Baiyun International Airport on the Guangzhou-Foshan Intercity Rail.
On completion of the east loop of the intercity line, it will only take half an hour to travel from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Baiyun International Airport, 10 minutes from the Tianhe central business district (CBD) to Guangzhou South Railway Station and 20 minutes from the Tianhe CBD to Baiyun International Airport.
