Guizhou's agricultural products highlighted in Tianhe
Dafang county of Bijie, Guizhou province, hosted a marketing fair to promote its characteristic agricultural products in Guangzhou's Tianhe district from Sept 8 to 12.
More than 30 companies brought over 50 Dafang-based agricultural products, including gastrodia elata, edible mushrooms, beef, walnut milk, shredded dried tofu, and honey. The county's cultural tourism products, such as Yi ethnic group costumes, Dafang lacquerware, and paintings by Dafang farmers, were also promoted.

"Thanks for this marketing fair, Bijie's agricultural and sideline products are being sold outside of Guizhou," said Guo Yifei, sales director of Guizhou Sunshine Food.
In addition, several contracts of intention were signed during the event, totaling about 180 million yuan ($24.74 million). Among them, Tianhe's supply and marketing cooperatives signed an intended order with the Dafang bureau of commerce that was worth 12 million yuan.
