Tianhe district was listed among the first batch of child-friendly pilot areas in Guangzhou, according to a recent announcement by city officials.

The district will further improve its service facilities for children, build more children's activity venues and travel routes, and promote the development of child-friendly communities.

The announcement also included that after Dec 31, 2024, more eligible areas will be assessed and recognized as child-friendly demonstration areas.
