Little migrant birds enjoy learning about crafts in Tianhe
A Qiqiao Festival-themed summer holiday activity was held on Aug 22 in the Tianhe district of Guangzhou - capital city of South China's Guangdong province - to let so-called "little migrant birds" from Southwest China's Guizhou province have some fun by learning arts and crafts.
The Qiqiao Festival, also known as Qixi Festival, is the Chinese Valentine's Day. The term "little migrant birds" refers to kids who are left at home in countryside and who "fly" out during the holidays to be with their parents who are working in cities.
