A total of 28 enterprises from Guangzhou's Tianhe district were showcased at the 31st Guangzhou Fair, which took place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from Aug 25-28.

Among them, eight enterprises took part in the fair's onsite exhibition, while 20 others were on display online.

Two representative sections - "little giant" companies and artificial intelligence - are set up at the Tianhe booth during the Guangzhou Fair. In recent years, Tianhe has been developing itself into a center of national intelligent computing and core AI technologies.

It is home to 16 national-level "little giant" companies and 554 provincial-level specialized, elaborative, characteristic, and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises.

The operating revenue of software enterprises above the designated size in the district exceeded 200 billion yuan ($27.42 billion) in 2022, accounting for over 50 percent of Guangzhou's total, while the 96 AI enterprises above the designated size had an operating revenue of over 10 billion yuan.

An enterprise above the designated size refers to those with annual revenue of at least 20 million yuan.
