GBA public legal service workstation established in Tianhe
A public legal service workstation was recently established at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Guangzhou's Tianhe district.
This is the first time that such a workstation has been set up at the entrepreneurship and incubation base for people from Hong Kong and Macao.

The workstation provides services such as legal consultations, legal aid, mediation, notarization, and law popularization. Its aim is to help youth from Hong Kong and Macao with their entrepreneurship, employment and living goals in the Greater Bay Area.
The establishment of this workstation marked that Tianhe is one step closer to its goal of having its "public legal services escorting the healthy development of enterprises", said Liu Qizhi, director of the Tianhe bureau of justice.
Liu added that workstations such as this one will attract more youth from Hong Kong and Macao to start businesses and work in Tianhe, contribute to the building of a competitive legal service brand, improve the district's business environment, and help with the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area.
As of the end of June, there was a total of 359 law firms and 12,422 practicing lawyers in Tianhe, accounting for 39.2 percent and 52.7 percent of Guangzhou's total, respectively. Based on this, the district has been exploring the public legal service model of "one public legal service platform + multiple public legal service teams".
It has now established 256 offline public legal service platforms and 11 legal service consultation points for the clothing wholesale markets. Since 2022, the district's online and offline public legal service platforms have offered legal services to over 38,000 people.
