The 2023 "must-eat" list was recently released by Dianping, the Chinese version of Yelp. Guangzhou has 69 restaurants on the list, of which 26 are from Tianhe district.

Among all the listed restaurants, nearly half were new entries and 60 percent were regional chain brands. They include the Grandview Mall branch of Be Bright Kitchen, the Zhujiang New Town branch of Colinmint, and the Guangzhou K11 Art Mall branch of Mango Tree.
