This year's nighttime consumption festival will take place from July to October, with the opening ceremony to be held on July 12, according to a mobilization meeting on June 14.

The festival will be jointly organized by the Tianhe Road Chamber of Commerce, the Tianhe Business Value Innovation Institute, and the Guangdong branch of China UnionPay. It will be composed of an opening ceremony, and several themed activities, which will include a car boot sale, a bar carnival, and an agricultural market.

Zhong Zhaohui, executive dean of the Tianhe Business Value Innovation Institute, expressed his hopes at the mobilization meeting that more resources will be added to this year's event, showcasing Guangzhou's warmth, tolerance, diversity and innovation.

In addition, a Guangzhou nighttime consumption report will be released at the opening ceremony of the event. An alliance will also be established at that time to create a development service system for Guangzhou's nighttime economy. It will be composed of representatives from the government, business circles, platforms, enterprises, and financial institutions.
