A research-based learning activity on ancient lychee trees will take place at Tianhe Children's Park on June 17, offering elementary school students a chance to get closer to nature.

Children will learn more about the ancient lychee trees at the park, experience lychee and vegetable picking, and get lychee fruits and seeds as gifts.

Tianhe Children's Park integrates ecology, science popularization, entertainment and healthcare. It is composed of a farming garden, a children's playground, a football field, a basketball court, and a mountain garden area.

The park has the most ancient trees in Tianhe, accounting for about half of the number of ancient trees in the district, and now boasts a total of 39 ancient lychee trees.
