Guangdong province's biggest university gym capped in Tianhe
The major structure of a comprehensive gymnasium complex at South China Agricultural University - located in Tianhe district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province - was recently capped.
The gym will have a combined floor space of nearly 52,450 square meters, comprising a class-A competition and training hall, a swimming pool and support facilities.

Construction of the gym started in August 2022 and it is scheduled to be finished at the start of 2024. On completion, it will be the biggest gym among all the universities and colleges in Guangdong province.
Li Yahong, president of South China Agricultural University, said the complex would greatly increase the university's indoor sports area and enhance the quality of life of teachers and students in school life.
