The 2023 Science Activity Week kicked off at the International Guangzhou Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Tianhe Base in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on May 20, and will last until May 31.

More than 30 activities are being held, conforming to this year's theme of "pursuing science, loving science". They include an exhibition to showcase the traditional Lingnan sports and lion dances; activities related to soil and the ecological environment at the Guangdong Soil Science Museum; as well as science popularization sessions at the Grandview Museum of Natural Science.
