Recently, Guangzhou issued its 2023 camping map, which included the South China National Botanical Garden, Guangzhou Pearl River Park and Huolu Mountain Forest Park in Tianhe district.

The South China National Botanical Garden is a great place for families to enjoy nature and see various plants. People can not only enjoy the natural landscape, but also gain more scientific knowledge about the plants that grow there.

With a total planned area of 319 hectares, the garden conserves more than 20,000 plant species across 38 specialized growing areas. This includes 6,000 plant species that are cultivated and harvested for profit.

Guangzhou Pearl River Park is an ecological park that focuses on cultivating and expanding its ecological environment. It is located in the central hinterland of Pearl River New Town in Tianhe district, and features a beautiful environment and elegant style.

The park held a camp-focused market as well as painting and sports activities. The Guangzhou Qinggong Orchestra also moved its stage to the park for an event, attracting many visitors to the outdoor event.

Huolu Mountain Forest Park has a strong natural atmosphere, and there are few man-made facilities outside of the mountain hiking path. The mountain is round, with a gentle slope, and features large rocks that resemble pig heads and chickens.

After climbing the mountain, visitors can overlook Tianhe district. Along the way, they can relax among the lush trees, which act as a natural oxygen reservoir.

Current plans are for South China National Botanical Garden to open up four areas for camping activities. Pearl River Park plans to open one new camping area, and Huolu Mountain Forest Park plans to open three such areas.
