Pedestrian bridge adds vitality to Tianhe

Recently, the pedestrian bridge that runs over Wushan Road was completed. It has made walking more convenient for people and has added vitality to Tianhe district.

The bridge connects the middle school and high school of South China Normal University as well as the Tianli Building. It features four stairways, a length of 27.8 meters and a width of 5.7 meters.

The bridge will improve the traffic capacity of Wushan Road, and will meet the needs of surrounding residents, especially teachers and students who are traveling to the schools.

The bridge is composed of two spatial shaped arch ribs and is decorated with steel pipes and other auxiliary components. It is shaped like a pair of open wings, symbolizing the continuation of urban development.
