Conference aims to boost investment in Tianhe
The Tianhe Parallel Session of the ninth China Guangzhou Investment Annual Conference took place on April 18, focusing on the district's business environment, major platforms, talent and financial services.

"The Guangzhou International Financial City has gathered 14 leading financial headquarters or institutions, and is expected to become a cluster area with the most number of financial headquarters in China," said Luo Jinliang, general manager of Cushman & Wakefield Guangzhou.
The core business circle in Zhujiang New Town is also expanding, added Luo. The Tianhe Road Business Circle is expected to become Guangzhou's consumption center as it is cooperating with other business circles, while the increasing passenger flow at Guangzhou East Railway Station is expected to build the station into a key transportation hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
"All these platforms will promote the birth of new growth drivers in Tianhe," Luo said.

According to Kuang Hu, vice president of Guangdong Yuehai Land Holdings Limited, Tianhe's development requires more high-quality buildings. These help to attract talented personnel and boost the sustainable development of the headquarters economy and consumption through diversified businesses and complete public functions.
In addition, the district released several measures to attract businesses and investment during the Tianhe Parallel Session.
A referrer who helps introduce a quality project to settle in Tianhe can now get a one-time reward of up to 2 million yuan ($290,034.08). Those who introduce enterprises that conform to the district's industrial development policy and are beneficial to the optimization of its industrial structure will be granted a one-time reward of 5,000 yuan.

Qualified modern urban industrial headquarters enterprises, digital service export enterprises and firms that export digital culture will get a one-time rental subsidy ranging from 200,000 to 1.2 million yuan for settling in commercial buildings in Tianhe.
Modern urban industrial headquarters enterprises, software enterprises and manufacturing enterprises that settle in places with State-owned property management will be free of ground rent for the first three months and can enjoy a rental subsidy for three years.
