According to the modern urban industry development plan for Tianhe district in the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Tianhe Smart City will focus on building up its core area and the Tianhe Intelligence Valley area, while speeding up construction of a central area for the Tianhe central technology innovation zone.

Tianhe Intelligence Valley, together with Zhujiang New Town and Guangzhou International Financial City, are expected to achieve an output value of 100 billion yuan ($14.5 billion) in the next five years, helping to boost the development of Tianhe's science and technology industry.

Tianhe Intelligence Valley will be centered on the new-generation information technology and cultural creative industries, while the Future Impression project will be the focus of its development.

The project will span nearly 45,000 square meters with a combined floor area of 220,000 sq m. It will be composed of six 13-story buildings and a 43,000-sq-m commercial center, with supporting facilities like a dragon boat museum and a fashion business hotel.

Three of the buildings are expected to be capped in June, and the remainder by the end of this year. The technology research and development center of Guangdong Huaxing Bank has also signed to settle here.

After completion, the project is expected to attract 300,000 people with high consumption capacity in Tianhe Smart City, boosting regional consumption.
