The third session of the ninth Tianhe District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) kicked off on March 1 in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, with more than 290 CPPCC members attending.

In 2022, the Standing Committee of the ninth CPPCC Tianhe District Committee put forward 190 proposals that were centered on Tianhe's economic and social development problems and specific problems that involved the people's immediate interests. Of these, 134 were registered and investigated, according to the work report by Yue Chaoyang, vice-chairperson of the ninth CPPCC Tianhe District Committee.
