Cross-city tax location set up in Tianhe
Guangzhou's Tianhe district recently became one of the four Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Tax Handling Demonstration Plots in Guangdong province.
The establishment of these demonstrative plots marks the launching of cross-city collaborative services for tax-related governmental affairs in the GBA. These plots can help improve work efficiency and reduce the cost of tax handling. The other three GBA Tax Handling Demonstration Plots are in Futian district in Shenzhen, Jinwan district in Zhuhai, and Huicheng district in Huizhou.

The self-service tax handling kiosks in the demonstration plot are equipped with the frequently used tax service systems, and have remote tax and online consulting functions. Enterprises that are registered in the four cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Huizhou can now go to any of these tax locations to handle 57 tax-related governmental affairs.
"I usually have to drive two hours to Shenzhen to deal with the business that cannot be handled at the electronic tax bureau, and it cost me a lot of time and labor," said a financial staff member at Tongcheng Service Group. "But now we can handle Shenzhen's tax-related affairs locally in Guangzhou. It's so convenient!"
