Anhui province-based eFoodLine Technology Network Co, which founded the RCEP (Guangzhou) Food Exhibition and Sales Center, is planning to move its headquarters to Guangzhou.

"Guangzhou, renowned as a ' millennial business capital,' has been a region with extremely active foreign economic and cultural exchanges since ancient times," said Xia Yang, the company's chairman. "The many consulates in Guangzhou will bring more opportunities for international food exhibition and trade, which attracted us to settle in Guangzhou."

"The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a new frontier of opening-up. It is home to many universities, research institutions, and sci-tech innovation enterprises, and boasts the advantages and broad market prospects for making breakthroughs in industrial software," said Zi Yingkun, vice general manager of Zwsoft (Guangzhou).

Zi expressed hopes that Zwsoft can become an industrial software enterprise serving the world, lead the construction of the industrial software industry chain, and contribute to the high-quality development of Guangdong's manufacturing industry.

According to an HSBC survey of nearly 3,400 companies in 16 markets around the world, nearly 70 percent of overseas companies said that they plan to expand their business in the Greater Bay Area in the next three years, and that Guangzhou is one of their top investment destinations.

On the other hand, we actively promote Guangzhou to overseas investors to help them invest and expand their business in Guangzhou," said Guan Qian, head of HSBC's Guangzhou branch.

"For digital technology companies, talent is indispensable," said Wang Yun, vice president of Guangzhou-based company Frontop. "Guangzhou's pragmatic business environment attracted us, and Tianhe's colleges and universities continue to provide us with talents."
