Digital creativity center starts construction in Tianhe
The commencement ceremony of Yangcheng Evening News' Lingnan digital creativity center recently took place in Guangzhou's Tianhe district. It is the district's first large-scale cultural project after this year's Spring Festival, which fell on Jan 22.
It is expected to promote the high-quality development of the cultural industry in Guangdong province, as well as contribute to building a cultural highland in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The digital creativity center will be located in Tianhe's Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park. It will cover a combined floor area of nearly 120,000 square meters. It will consist of 32 floors above ground and two floors underground, spanning a height of 149.95 meters. It is scheduled to have a three-year construction period and to be put into operation in 2026.

Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park has gathered 148 enterprises in cultural and creative industries, of which nine have been listed. Its annual output value exceeds 30 billion yuan ($4.42 billion).
