Liede neighborhood in Tianhe district was recently listed among the 12 international block construction pilot areas in Guangzhou.

It will be built into a featured block that integrates industry and city. Such blocks will also integrate culture, business and tourism to create a friendly living environment. This will allow Guangzhou to build itself into a high-level international communication and exchange center.

Located in the core area of Tianhe central business district (CBD), Liede boasts a complete public infrastructure, convenient transportation, and commercial buildings. Currently, 103 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, 19 high-rise buildings over 100 meters high, and 93 buildings from 90 to 100 meters in height can be found in Liede. A total of 30 foreign consulates have also settled here, with more than 2,000 foreigners living and working in the area.

Liede also boasts many scenic spots, and receives over 100,000 visitors in a single day during holidays. Large-scale activities such as the Guangzhou International Light Festival, the Guangzhou Marathon, and the Guangzhou Garden Expo have been carried out here.
