During the three-day New Year holiday, which took place from Dec 31, 2022 to Jan 2, the passenger flow at the Tianhe Road Business Circle totaled 3.8 million, which is an increase of 173.7 percent from the same period last month (Nov 30 to Dec 2).

A variety of activities were carried out by businesses during the holiday. They included a dance cruise and band performances at the Fashion Tianhe Plaza and a themed bazaar at the VT101 Victory Plaza.

In addition, bald cypress trees at scenic areas like the South China National Botanical Garden and Zhujiang Park were a main attraction for shutterbugs during the holiday. A total of 51,757 people visited the South China National Botanical Garden during the three-day holiday.
