The 2022 Guangzhou International Fashion Industry Conference and the Guangzhou Fashion Consumption Festival is being held at the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou's Tianhe district from Dec 23 to 27.

Themed on "fashion capital and charming Guangzhou", the event is guided by the China National Textile Industry Council (CNTAC) and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce. It is hosted by the Guangzhou municipal bureau of commerce and the Guangzhou Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

A series of activities are being held at the event, including a fashion night and a fashion award party, aiming to comprehensively demonstrate the fashion industry in Guangzhou and create new opportunities for the high-quality development of the industry.

Nearly 100 representative fashion brands are showcasing themselves at the event's venue. The brands span across numerous fields, such as textile and clothing, makeup and hairdressing, luggage and leather goods, jewelry, glasses and watches, new energy vehicles, beverages, and art.

Over 20 designers will hold fashion shows during the event, such as MATHIEU, the "BFD Creative Park" joint show with alumni designer brands from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, and the 2023 spring/summer show of top Chinese designer, Deng Zhaoping.

In addition, a design and fashion industry alliance in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be founded during the event to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fashion industry within the Greater Bay Area and enhance the influence of Guangzhou's fashion industry.
