The "comprehensive management center + intelligent platform" of Liede sub-district in Guangzhou's Tianhe district was selected among the 2022 intelligent governance innovative cases of political and legal construction, being the only one getting listed in Guangzhou.

The list was recently selected by Legal Daily, the official newspaper of the Political and Judiciary Commission under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Liede is a landmark area for the development of Tianhe. With a special geographical location, a diversified business model and an international block management, it has great challenges in social governance. In May 2021, it built the digitalized, intelligent and modern comprehensive management center.

The center is composed of the Huacheng Square urban operation command center and the conflict mediation center. The Huacheng Square urban operation command center is responsible for overall coordination, command and dispatch, and early warning, while the conflict mediation center, connected with police stations and judicial offices, takes responsibilities in public reception, conflict mediation, and psychological counseling.

In addition, the center set up the Joint Conference on Comprehensive Social Governance that is hosted by the sub-district offices, police stations, market supervision offices, enterprises and institutions in Liede. A regular meeting system was also established, along with the work reporting system and the first inquiry accountability system.

Since the center put into operation, it has investigated and mediated 638 disputes that involve more than 100 million yuan ($14.36 million).
