Innovation Challenge kicks off in Tianhe
The seventh China Innovation Challenge (Guangzhou, Guangdong) On-site Competition recently kicked off at the International Guangzhou Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Tianhe Base.
It focuses on the major technological innovation needs of enterprises in Guangzhou and has invited universities, research institutes, enterprises, and technical teams across the country to join forces to carry out original leading scientific and technological breakthroughs.

A total of 346 technological needs were recorded at the competition, of which 100 are high-quality technological innovation ones, a record high.
Seventeen technical teams from Shanghai, Xi'an in Shaanxi province, Hangzhou in Zhejiang province, and Nanchang in Jiangxi province replied to the invitations. Through both online and offline channels, they are competing with each other in five major fields that include new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection, biomedicine, and new materials.
Ma Dong, assistant dean of the College of Life Science and Technology of Jinan University, said that their research on RNA delivery materials has certain universality. "For one thing, the school research can be tested in the market through the competition, and in addition, it also gives an opportunity for academic peers to communicate and exchange."
