Tianhe app selected as national case of digital innovation
The Changya app, an artificial intelligence + mass application music creation platform, was recently listed among the top 10 culture and tourism digital innovation practice cases in 2022 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The app was developed by Guangzhou Huancheng Culture Media Co, which is based in Tianhe district, and was the only one from South China to make the list.

Tianhe has been boosting the digitalization of the culture industry to drive high-quality economic development. It has taken the lead in Guangzhou to issue supportive policies for the digital culture industry, as well as development plans and action plans for the e-sports, games, and software industries. The e-sports industry development plan (2020-30) of Tianhe district is the first of its kind in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The district also boasts a number of demonstration industrial parks for the culture industry at the national, provincial, and municipal levels.
The Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park, which used to be an old factory in a suburb, has now become a digital economy gathering area for over 140 cultural creative and digital economy enterprises like Kugou Music and LIZHI INC, with an annual output value of over 30 billion yuan ($4.15 billion).
In 2021, the added value of the core industries of digital economy in Tianhe exceeded 54.5 billion yuan. By March 2022, the district had 863 cultural enterprises above designated size, with an operation revenue of 198.1 billion yuan.
