An activity to help with rural vitalization efforts in areas that Guangzhou's Tianhe district is paired with to support their development was carried out at T.I.T Smart Zone in Tianhe on Oct 14.

Members of the Tianhe District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) showcased and introduced over 100 high-quality agricultural products from the paired areas on livestreams, aiming to increase sales of these products and to attract people to participate in promoting rural vitalization.

"This is my first live broadcast, and I recommended Guizhou's edible fungi products to netizens and used my own professional knowledge to introduce these products," said Liu Ming, a Tianhe District Committee member and director of the Edible Fungus Laboratory at the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. "I hope to open up more sales channels for these products through livestreaming."

Wang Ying, a Tianhe District Committee member and president of Guangzhou Zhongyingbao Security Service Co, expressed hope that the high-quality agricultural products from the paired areas can be delivered to the tables of Guangzhou residents in a faster and more economical way through their recommendations, contributing to rural vitalization efforts.
