The series of forums for the first Greater Bay Area Metaverse Digital Art Festival is taking place in Guangzhou's Tianhe district from September to October, with the first one held on Sept 17.

Themed on "metaverse and youth", the forum invited outstanding practitioners in the metaverse industry to share their practical experience, thoughts and future prospects through keynote speeches, roundtable forums, and live online broadcasts.

Cai Wei, an assistant professor at the School of Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), illustrated the overlapping spectra of the physical and digital worlds under the new scenario of the metaverse by introducing CUHK-Shenzhen's metaverse campus, NFT cultural creativity, and game finance.

The possibility of future education, the way of combining metaverse and education, the future career map of the metaverse, and what media and technology will bring to the metaverse were discussed during a speech given by Wu Yichen, chief executive officer of X ACADEMY.

Sequoia Capital China's former vice president and a partner of the technology business incubation platform QAQ Du Yu provided new ideas to integrate digital collections, the metaverse, and a token economy into product innovation, brand marketing, traffic channels, and a positioning strategy for young entrepreneurs.
