Tianhe to host National Science Popularization Day activities
Activities to celebrate this year's National Science Popularization Day will take place across Guangzhou on Sept 17, with the main venue located at South China National Botanical Garden in Tianhe district.
South China National Botanical Garden is the largest subtropical botanical garden in China, boasting a conservation exhibition area of 283 hectares and preserving over 13,000 species of plants. It is China's second national botanical garden.

The exhibition area at the main venue will be divided into 10 parts, showcasing the scientific and technological achievements in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, China's cutting-edge medical technologies, the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development, Guangzhou's featured agricultural products and technologies, colorful intangible cultural heritage items, as well as changes brought by science and technology to people's lives.
