Dance performances bring vitality to ancient masterpieces
To highlight the artistry of its exhibits and to bring the cultural relics to life, the Guangdong Modern Dance Company was invited to create a program inspired by and complementing the ongoing Masterpieces in Lingnan exhibition, which features calligraphy and paintings from the Song (960-1279) and Yuan (1271-1368) dynasties.
The modern dance and folk music performances are being staged at Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou's Tianhe district from Sept 3 to Nov 26.
