Tianhe unveils digital government reform plan for 2021-25
Guangzhou's Tianhe district is seeking public opinions on the digital government reform and development plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).
According to the plan, the district will comprehensively deepen the government's digital transformation and establish a new model of digital government operation by 2025. It aims to become a benchmark area for digital transformation in Guangdong province and the whole country in that period.

Tianhe will deeply integrate multiple online and offline service channels, with government services at the district, neighborhood, and community levels becoming more collaborative and intensive. A government service system that is easily accessible, intelligent, highly efficient, fair, and inclusive will be basically established by 2025.
The district will also build the Tianhe Road intelligent business circle, forming an online and offline integrated and intelligent consumption scene.
It will promote the construction of neighborhood-level comprehensive senior care service centers, advance the coverage of home-based care service facilities for seniors, as well as improve the three-level home care service network of district, neighborhood, and community.
It will explore and create an education metaverse that integrates virtual education spaces and education classrooms, promote immerse teaching experiences, as well as realize efficient teaching and personalized learning.
Construction of virtual tourism services in scenic spots will be boosted, while 5G + ultra high definition will be equipped in important event venues to promote the multi-dimensional VR digitalization of cultural and tourism resources.
