A juvenile protection work station was recently established in Tianhe district's Tangxia neighborhood, aiming to provide family protection, school protection, social protection, network protection, government protection, and juridical protection for juveniles.

The work station is equipped with a children's playground, a reading gallery, a youth zone, the one-stop protection center for juveniles, and the family education guidance station. It will also regularly carry out activities for law publicity, safety education, parent-child early education, volunteer services, psychological counseling, science and technology education, as well as family education guidance.

The juvenile protection work station is the enforcement agency and service place that protect the physical and mental health of juveniles, said Yuan Xiaoyi, deputy head of Tianhe district. It has been included in the district's top 10 livelihood projects in 2022.

Tianhe aims to realize the full coverage of juvenile protection work stations in all its neighborhoods within this year. The preparation works for juvenile protection work stations in 20 other neighborhoods, such as site selection, have been completed. Construction of them is scheduled to be fully started in August and is expected to be completed in September.
