The Women's Federation of Tianhe District held activities on May 14 for the nation's first family education promotion week, which runs from May 9 to 15.

The parent-child reading activity included book recommendations, expert comments, presentation, and book donations. It aimed to guide parents to pay attention to parent-child reading, increase parent-child communication opportunities, and promote the formation of good parent-child relationships.

In addition, photographers were invited to take pictures for the 20 "Most Beautiful Families" in Tianhe district, recording happy moments and memories for family members. An online activity to show family photos was also carried out.

"Since I am working on the frontlines against the COVID-19 epidemic, I have little time to spend with my child," said a "Most Beautiful Families" representative. "Thanks to this activity, my child and I had a great time. In the future, I will try my best to spare some time after work to better accompany my child's growth."
