Four incubators in Guangzhou's Tianhe district made the list of 2021 national-level high-tech business incubators that was recently released by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

They were Yuanyang New OTC Market Listed Company Incubation Base, CloudGoing Software and Information Technology Innovation Industrial Incubator, Fenghuangli Incubator, as well as Times TIT Software Information Industrial Incubator.

Tianhe has been promoting the high-quality development of its high-tech business incubation system. It has formed a multi-level and diversified system of innovation resources. It can offer support like rewards for excellent evaluation results and rent subsidies.

In the past five years, the number of national incubators in Tianhe district has risen from four to 16, accounting for 30 percent of the total in Guangzhou. The number of State-level incubators and maker spaces in the district has increased to 36, ranking first in the city.

By the end of April, there were a total of 232 incubators and maker spaces in the district, of which 68 are at or above provincial level and 83 are at or above municipal level.

More than 10 future unicorn enterprises, each of which has a market valuation of over $50 million, have been fostered in the district.
