The design scheme for the landscape greening project along the east extension line of Linjiang Avenue was recently launched to solicit opinions from the public.

The project, which will be built into a belt-shaped park along the Pearl River, will be located east of Chepo South Road and west of the Shenyong River in Tianhe district. It will have a total length of nearly 2.5 kilometers and cover a combined floor area of about 85,000 square meters.

On the basis of the original factory sites, the project plans to build new public green space, an activity square, public toilets, rest pavilions, corridors, and other supporting facilities. Three paths for strolling, running, and cycling will be built throughout the park.

It is expected that the project will accelerate high-quality development along the Pearl River, improve the continuity and integrity of the green belt along the Pearl River, as well as create a public green space and charming waterfront with Lingnan characteristics.
